ALEXANDRA MAGER, LCSW
Curiosity is our greatest tool in untangling old storylines and changing the harmful beliefs we hold about ourselves.
When looking to make changes, we have to look further than what’s visible on the surface.
I work by helping you better understand how your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, along with external forces, impact your day-to-day life.
I believe that growth, change, and healing can involve joy, empathy, and compassion. Let’s work together to create meaningful, lasting change in your life.

Couples often seek therapy when they’re feeling stuck and have goals in mind for what needs to change: improving communication, navigating transitions, deepening intimacy, rebuilding trust, and letting go of old patterns.
Couples therapy provides a safe, structured environment to explore your relationship and examine what’s not working. I help couples to learn more conscious, intimate, and harmonious ways of being in partnership with one another.

The teen years are a time of growth and transition. Strategies and tactics that worked when they were younger now no longer work. With these changes come challenges for teens and their loved ones; the good news is that ‘growing pains’ do not need to be painful.
I help teens learn to deal with challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationships with friends and family, school-related pressures, dating, and identity issues.
