Frequently Asked Questions

The best way to get started is by reaching out to me. You can do this by visiting my contact page and filling out some information about yourself and what you’re looking for.
I will respond within 24 - 48 hrs, and from there, we set up a free phone consultation, and you can decide if you want to move forward with scheduling an initial session together.

I typically see people as frequently as they’d like. For some, this means on a weekly or biweekly basis, though depending on what you’re looking to work on, it could be as often as 2-3 times a week.
If you want to meet biweekly, I recommend beginning with 4-6 sessions weekly before transitioning to every other week. This will allow us to build a strong foundation for our work together.

Making an appointment can often bring some relief—taking action can feel invigorating. Similarly, some short-term relief can be felt when you begin to describe what you’re experiencing to someone listening closely and empathetically.
That said, change doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a process, and at times, it can be painful. Therapy asks us to examine the wounded parts of our lives and ourselves, which can mean feeling the pain of these wounds. This work takes time, but it is also the most rewarding.
Often, people have goals they want to work towards. When we begin, we’ll discuss your treatment goals and reevaluate them as we continue working together to see how we meet them.
When you feel as though your goals are met, you can decide to end treatment, remain in treatment to maintain your progress, or set new goals.

At this time, I am not accepting new clients with insurance.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement through your insurance company. If you are eligible, I can provide all necessary documentation and paperwork to receive reimbursement.
I have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services. Otherwise, I recommend contacting your provider directly and asking about your out-of-network benefits.
